Living in the Past or Praying About the Present
Pastor Phil walks us through the story of Saul becoming Paul. God called out to Saul when he was still persecuting Christians. He wanted to save him and use him. Saul’s name became Paul, and he went on to write much of the Bible, “forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.” God uses the most unlikely of people, but we can’t be most effective if we are stuck in the shame of our past. Pastor Phil walks us through the importance of freedom from our past and praying for our present.
